Celebrations!

This was definitely a week of celebrations here in Leviland! I turned 26, we kicked off fantasy football season, our neighbor's grand daughter (in the background above) turned one (Happy birthday Sandriana!), and we got to see Lindsey for the first time in TOO LONG!

And oh yeah, we're one week closer to Sept. 15th :)
It was also nice for Jenny and Levi to spend an afternoon with Nani at a northern Illinois forest reserve that worked as the perfect "meet half way" point!

On to the Fantasy Draft! Levi and Sarah oogled over the Championship Belt passed down from victor to victor each year.

A draft at Chris and Sarah's wouldn't be complete without some video game controller action. Gotta love the Donald Driver Onesie!

Levi tried to relieve Zac of one of his necklaces.

"Zac, you need to share"

Here's Levi helping Sarah make a crucial pick...

"Sarah, you know who the best sleeper is this year?!... I'm not sure, but it's definitely not me, just ask my Daddy!"

Levi enjoying some quality time with Amanda. Thanks Amanda for entertaining him during the draft; I know he had an awesome time with you!

Yay for snacks with Lauren!

"Hey Sarah, you got da Elmo Song on dis fing?"

Jones Boyz sporting the Packers starting wideouts jerseys
(We've got Jennings on our team this year... I know Levi is as excited as me!)

Had to make a quick stop at the other Jones' before heading back to Chicago.

I think someone missed Levi...

"Help me Daddy!"
Well, that's it for this week. It's been busy, but by God's grace I haven't been super absent these past few weeks. Thanks for checking in and have a great rest of the week!

Busy Season!

"Fist Pound!"Wow! It has been a VERY busy last week and a half! Sorry for the deal on the blog update but somebody has to prepare those returns. Any ways, Levi is on the move! He took SIX steps today and is probably less than a couple weeks away from full-time walking. As we wait on this milestone, let's check out munchkin enjoying a peach... like a BIG BOY!

"I BIG BOY!"

There is no limit to the new positions we find Levi sleeping in. This is one of my personal favorites... the Levi Package. And yes, he is wearing the Huggies Jean Diapers.

"He's cool, in blue, doing No. 2..."

One of Levi's favorite games...

"Hide and Seek"

"Where's Levi?"

"Peek!"

"Mama, can I check my email?"

THE 2010 NFL PRESEASON IS HERE!

"Don't mess with me, I'm a PACKER FAN!"

"No. 1!"

Isabel came over this past week. Levi always has fun with her.

"Hey Isabel, what's your digits?"

"Gentle Levi!"

"Home Run!"

Levi is getting better about sharing. He shared Jenny's iPod with his builder buddy.

Levi is trying to setup surround sound... in the dump truck.

My parents got me an awesome Greg Jennings Jersey (Thanks Rents!). Levi wore it in for me. It wasn't easy to move in.

Ok, we'll take it off buddy

Well, another week and a half is behind us, which puts us that much closer to the end of busy season! Thanks for taking the time to check us out again this week or for the first time. Have a wonderful rest of the week and hopefully I'll be able to give you another update next week.

Happy belated birthday Kylie and Nani!

Higgins Lake

It's unbelieveable the difference one year makes! We were blessed this past weekend with the chance to go up to Jenny's Aunt Dru and Uncle Robert's lake house in Roscommon, MI again this year. Luckily, I was able to make the trip this time around! I can hardly believe that Levi was as small and pimply as he was in the picture below. It's amazing how fast they grow!

As usual, Levi loved the opportunity to spend some extended time with Papa Tiggy... wait that's the other way around (though I know Levi loved it too) ;)
"Come on Max Bean, I'll race you up the stairs!"

Hangin' out at the white sandy beach with 3 foot water levels out over 2oo yards! This is easily the most amazing lake I've been on!

"Can I drive next?"

"I can see the bottom!"

"At last, my turn to drive, with Aunt Dru's help of course"
Actually, the battery died and Robert, John, and myself are pushing the boat back home... another great reason to have 3-4 foot water levels out 200 yards!

Back at the lake house Jenny and Levi posed for some close-ups

"Scrunchy face!"

Great picture of Jenny and Levi... too bad me and two-chin are in it.

Levi turned on the Hall of Fame game; we had a long debate over the Bengals addition on T.O.

Nothin' says relaxation like Uncle Drew popcorn!

"Yum!"

One last sunset before we head home in the morning...

Back home Levi tried on his new winter suit (courtesy of Aunt Jane)...
just a little big :)

"help...."

Mr. Curious and the baby powder had another lovely encounter yesterday :)

Poor Teeny Love

Well, sorry again for the late post, but as I get into the stride of my late busy season my schedule is very unpredictable. Also, before I forget again... now that I've given them enough time to tell everyone they want in person, CONGRATS TO CHRIS AND SARAH ON THEIR ENGAGEMENT!!!

So, until next week, sometime.... have a good one and God bless!

Starts out at none and ends up ONE!

That's right, two weeks worth of Levi pictures in one SUPER POST! I mentioned last week that I would blog a second time last week and I never did... so here's a recap of what happened from the last week of Levi being in his first year of life and the week after he turned one.

This is our sweet little boy right before nap time
"Mom! Let me in the Kitchen pleazzz!"

"I can't do it, just pick me up!"

Two weekend ago we were up in Wisconsin for Misty and Andy's wedding, which worked out conveniently with seeing this small Delafield based band that we've loved for a few years now!

"NEW REVOLUTION!!!!"

That's right, the band that brought us hits such as, "911," "Dreams," and "Crackling." Unfortunately, only half the band was able to make the show, but it was our favorite two members, so we won out any ways.

Thanks Drew and Dylan for a great show!

Leave it to Levi to flirt with one of the band member's sister...

Jenny got up and close with lead singer/guitarist Drew (her lil' bro)

Saturday was wedding day! Congrats to Misty and Andy and thanks for letting us be a part of your day! Levi enjoyed some quality time with his aunts and their electronics!

"Look at my coo tongue!"

"Dad, I want one of deez"

Levi and his aunts!

Sunday was Jenny's baptism in Lake Michigan! Oh wait, the e coli levels were too high...

Levi got to hang out with our good friend Lauren, easily one of his favorite ladies!

Well, not going to let poop water stop us from commiting ourselves to God...
BABY POOL TIME!

Levi was so proud of his Mama!

Hangin' with Mama!
Quick recap: Levi turned ONE on Tuesday
On Saturday we had a party for Levi at Loyola beach. Thank you to all our family and friends that made it; it was great to see you all! Thank you Jess for the amazing Brewers hat!

Auntie FunFun

Poor Levi got snapped by the birthday hat... accidentally by his Daddy.
"Blow out the candle!"
(Photo and candle bombed by Gracie!)

Jenny wasn't in the mood for cake time 2.0, we went with the cupcake!

"Mmmmm..."

"T-I-Double Guh-Errr"

Levi loved his DumpTruck from Nani and Papa

Relaxing back home with storytime (Uncle Drew style)

Drew stayed with us this week. Levi and he had lots of jam sessions
(Just picture Levi with a lighter in his hand)
Well, we're off to Michigan tomorrow. And so starts year two of "Life in Leviland!" Thanks for sticking with us over the last year and don't worry I've signed a contract for at least one more year of weekly posts!
