Daddy Who?

The Jones' to the north came to visit the weekend before last.
We had lots of fun, which included naps, Indie Cafe,
time at the park, and custard!

Just Cute...

Levi has been an awesome big brother -
he loves to just hang with his lil' brother :)

Man, Levi, you are just a little social butterfly!
Hangin' with little Janey!

Don't mess with this tough guy!
Jenny and the boys went to visit the Perricones last week.
Levi did a little regressing...

Check out these little studs!

Just our little happy baby!
He started giggling this week - AMAZING!

I was able to go home at a decent time on my birthday
and hang out with my beautiful wife and handsome little boys

Gotta love a kid who can fall asleep anywhere...

Levi, just being a goof

"Hi brother!"

"Hi Brother!"

Munchy is always munching...

The best part of my life

Jenny and the boys went to the zoo this week with
Jordan and Somerlie - pure fun!

Petting the goats

It's not Central Park - but still pretty nice

Tigue Fashion Show!

Tigue - sporting the Noah's Ark-style jumper...

Tigue - rockin' it out

Just two fun-lovin' brothers

I got home at a decent time tonight and was able to go to the park with the boys. Levi had fun going down the slide with all the big kids. They were EXTREMELY good with him - we love our new neighborhood!

Fifteen days and counting my friends! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like our engagements are in good shape and that multiple all-nighters will not be a part of my September 2011. Thank you all for your prayers and for those of you that have helped out and given Jenny a break or just hung out with Jenny and the boys - you've all been a great help and blessing. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend all and CONGRATULATIONS to the Gamaches on the birth of their son Elias ("Eli")!!! We are so happy for you!!
Happy belated birthday to Nani, Laura-Bora, and Goggy!

Baby Butts!

The difference in waste produced by a 2-year-old and an infant is amazing... we just had to share :) Alright moving on. This was a pretty busy last week but I was glad that Jenny was able to get out of the house and hang out with friends. One afternoon she went to the beach with Kindra and the Dalach boys. FUN IN THE SUN!

Really, Levi...

I'm sure there is some spiritual analogy I could make about Levi gazing out over the footprints before him... but all I can think is he looks like he's dropping a load.

Cute little Munchy-Moo is getting so big!

So, I have to apologize to my Aunt Jeni and Uncle Frank who bought this amazing chair for Levi. It was a wonderful birthday present and should have made the blog much earlier. Thanks guys, we love you and miss you!

Just watching Elmo while sitting on Elmo...

Tigue gives it a try - CUTE!

We made our way out to Indiana to visit family and it was also a surprise birthday celebration for me! Thanks guys for the amazing gift (24-pack of Three Floyds Gumball Head) and delicious cake. My co-workers downed the extras in less than 24 hours. This trip was also the first time that Aunt Leslie got to meet her second great-nephew.

Jenny watched De and Joseph's little boy Jako this past week and the boys had lots of fun playing with the puzzles.

"Hi, little baby!"

Now for the many TV watching positions of Levi -
this is the face-stuffing approach
The I-want-to-be-in-the-movie-so-bad-face

The Always-in-motion glance

And cute little Tigue trying to sleep in the swing

Today Aunt Dru was in town and got to meet her new little great-nephew.
Love at first sight!

Jenny had Bible study tonight, so I watched the boys. Tigue was so happy and cooing a ton. So glad I said screw it to work and came home early to hang with the boys!

Little did I know that under this cute face and teeny body was a massive load that went half way up his back... and an hour later the boys were clean, asleep, and I had finished hand scrubbing Tigue's outfit and car-seat covering - parenthood is awesome!

That wraps it up folks. Happy belated birthday to my little sis Kylie; already 17 - CRAZY!? Please continue to pray for Jenny as my weeks begin to average about 80 hours a week. She's been a rockstar so far but that's a lot of hours with out reinforcements or a break. Thanks for checking in and I'll end with this... how about them BREWERS!

Bonus - Double Issue!

That's right two weeks of JonesPod awesomeness packed into one post! Let's be honest... it was the only way I was going to get caught up. Dreams of posting twice in one week just need to be put away, along with being a professional athlete and getting an iPad. Any ways, welcome back, we had quite a lot of visitors over the last two weeks and my work schedule is really starting to ramp up - about 75 hours a week right now (can't wait for the hundred hour weeks). Enough venting about the career I chose, let's move on. In the above picture Levi is sporting the knit sweater my grandmother made for Tigue (I mentioned it last week) and that's all he's sporting...

Below is Levi... this is a typical look after his afternoon nap.
This is Tigue during a rare afternoon nap :)
Tigue had to have an ultrasound two weeks ago to see if his belly button was closing up. This contraption was in the waiting room - I forget what it's called but something about kinetics and audio and motion...
FINALLY - we made the call to buy a Bob Duallie Stroller!
Isn't it wonderful...
Perfect for two cute little boys and a Mama that NEEDS to get around!
He's pretty crafty :)
And the outfit matching begins
Oh no, not the MUNCH!
Funny :)
Levi sporting his new jammies from his aunties
So, on the last day of July 2011 we got to hang out with the Roundys one last time before they headed off to Senegal. It was exciting and sad to send them off.
WE LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!
Jenny, Jenny R., and Misty trying to act goofy to fight off the tears...
We'll see you in February 2013! That's right, Jenny and I have about 18 months to learn french, get 5 million shots and prep to visit the Roundys!
Levi is TWO NOW so it's time for the big boy bed!
His room needs some major decorating but we had to show you the bed.
Jenny got a chance late last week to go hang out with Brittany and the Perricone Clan. Lots of backyard fun with water and SPACE to play!
The boys "sharing" the squirt-gun
The littler boys resting out of the sun
We also got the pleasure of Laura and her new BF (Neal) visiting this past weekend. I had to work until right before they had to leave but I made it back to take this much needed picture :)
OK - time to ramp up the Tigue facial pictures; we've been slacking with the fact that Levi is just slightly more amusing at this point, but I think Tigue is ready to hold his own!
And if friends weren't enough, Papa and the boys' uncles stopped by on Sunday!
Just bein' a good big brother
I like to think he's just working his calves...
not cross-dressing
Whatever, he's two and he looks cute!
Psuedo-Nap!
~ Just Being Silly ~
He's going to smile...
THERE IT IS!!!
Lastly, Jenny went and picked out Levi's new kicks today with birthday money from Mimi. They just add a whole new level of cool to our two-year-old.
And with that we wrap up TWO more weeks in ChiTown with the JonesPod. Please be praying for Jenny to have easy days over the next month and that my schedule is flexible enough that I can work from home whenever possible. Thanks all for checking in again and have a wonderful rest of the week... NFL PRESEASON!!!! YAH!
