What Happened to My Warm Weather?

"Wevi, Jelly-butter samich!"

I bet you can hardly believe your eyes! An update only a week after the last one. Unfortunately, Jenny and I were not camera ready... we only took two pictures that were worth posting! However fear not we've picked our new camera and it should be here in a couple weeks.

Here are the boys and me playing one of Levi's favorites - na-night!
Tigue thinks it's funny too.

This past week has been amazing! The weather has been fantastic until this past Sunday. I think the boys and I ran about 25 miles thanks to our AWESOME duallie stroller. Levi and Tigue are very smooth with the ladies; they get lots of waves and smiles.

As a consolation "prize" to the very limited pictures selection here's a cute video of Tigue saying "up" and making his "I'm proud of myself" face. Enjoy!

Have a great week everyone and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Luck of the Irish!?

So, it's been a while. Not a good sign when your first post of the month is on the 20th. Though I will admit you haven't missed "much"

Levi and Tigue are getting really big. Levi is a talking machine - my favorites are when he wakes up in the morning and demands juice and a movie... "Daddy, juice and a Remmy? Wevi, juice and a Remmy?" AND when he says, "bess you" when some one sneezes. FYI - Remmy is the character in his new favorite movie Ratatouille and for the record he does not watch a movie every morning - but a toddler has to try, right?

Tigue on the other hand has mastered one new word (outside of Mama and Dada)... UP! Now if that's not a "shocker" for the second child who clearly has to spend more time entertaining himself I don't know what is ;) He's also mastered the army crawl and dancing. And, he is just starting to pull himself up - let the real work begin!

So, there you have it, the first three weeks of March. Again, I'm deeply sorry for the rough start to 2012; it's been a revelation finding out that raising two energetic boys, trying to be a good husband, and working towards a promotion are hard!? Who knew... Anyways, family should come first and that included TheJonesPod blog followers, so let's do it.

Honestly, though the real reason I haven't been updating the blog is because I was helping Levi clean up this mess... it took 21 days.

Lev is really starting to get a hang of this whole being a big brother thing. He definitely has some rough moments but it's pictures like this that remind me how much he loves his little brother. It's also amazing to see how much Tigue already looks up to him - crazy!

I honestly have no idea what he is eating... my guess is butternut squash or avocados. This is actually extra awesome because rarely do Jenny or I let either of our boys get this dirty when they eat.

I came home one night to this amazing handy work. The steps say,
"We Love You Daddy, Welcome Home!"

Let the climbing in stuff phase begin!

We had the pleasure of spending the last weekend with family up in Wisconsin for Friday night and Saturday and Tigue went on a walk with Papa, Jenny, and Levi and got a little too comfy :)

Back in Chicago today Jenny and the boys spend some quality time with Eli and his Mama, Lauren, supporting our local custard shop - Lickity Split!

More goofing around at the park!

This is Tigue's scrunchy face of excitement
(usually when he's really proud of himself)

What's with the boxes, baskets, and bins!?
(oh wait, it's just cute)

Lastly, just to give a taste of what you get when you visit TheJonesPod on any given afternoon...

And that gets us through today. It's been a busy month and hopefully it slows down some at work so I can keep you sassy people entertained - j/k - it's actually a pleasure and enjoyable to document our little dudes' lives. I just have to make sure I keep remembering to back up the blog. Have a good night everyone and I look forward to updating you again next week.
