Livin' it up Levi-style!

WEDNESDAY!!! Really, I made you wait until WEDNESDAY to find out more about Levi... well, yes I did and trust me these faces are totally worth it (including the patented Jones stink-eye; see above)! It has been super hot this past week, so Levi spent most days in just a diaper, including when he ate at the table.

Jenny works out every Tuesday and Thursday with Kindra and Kristine. Levi usually plays very well in what we call Leviland (barracaded area of our living room). However, now that he can stand and climb we sometimes forget to move stuff off of tables... like the tissue paper.

On our road trip up to Wisconsin to visit the Broglis, Levi got to enjoy some French Fries (Organic Baby Friendly ones of course... courtesy of Wendy's). Here he faces the dilemma of eating the rest of the fry or enjoying the nuk... I think he started with the fry and ended with the nuk. He's so smart!

We didn't bring Levi's high-chair, so we used his car seat as a high-chair

Levi learned to climb stairs this weekend. Not sure if that face is for self-excitement or... gas.

This is what happens when girls play with babies...

Levi was super scared of the Brogli animals. He didn't have any clue what to do. He got much better as the weekend went on, but the first time the Brogli's little dog Tucker ran at Levi, Levi made this aweful terrified scream, which I had never heard before. It was hilarious and sad all at the same time. Long story short, there were no injuries (animals or Levi) and Levi eventually found the courage to get pretty close on his own.

Well, another week down in the world of the JonesPod. Levi is getting SO big and SO quick and funnier and funnier by the day. Happy Memorial Day to all those that we will not see this weekend and have a blessed time with family and friends!

Our Big Baby Monster!

What happened to my little baby? Who is this chattering, standing, hugging, dancing, teething cutie monster! And he needs his teeth brushed... it took him a while but he came around to it.

Levi is climbing on everything and oh yeah, still chewing on everything, too!

Levi loves his new play center that he got from Goggy and Bompa for Christmas. He loves to dance with the songs.

And he LOVES paper... even toilet paper! Gross Levi!

He has mixed feelings about his singing, dancing puppy. Some days he loves it, others he thinks its scary... it's hilarious. Thanks Perricones!

Our friends the Lillpops are on their way to Poland for a short term missions trip (http://thelillpops.wordpress.com/) and needed someone to unload their food on... we selflessly volunteered :) Thank you so much, Lillpops!!

This is Levi's new office under one of our end tables. I guess this is what Jenny did as a baby too. Funny!

Levi went down for a nap and actually cuddled up with his blankie. Very sweet!

Well, the Lillpops are headed to Poland... and then Colorado! Waaaah! You will be SOOOO missed, Chris and Kelly. We will definitely come visit you... in Colorado, not Poland, sorry.

In case you're not sure what Levi dancing is... here's a good example. Unfortunately, his dancing skills are mirroring his Daddy's, not his Mama. But as simple as it is, it is dang cute! Enjoy!

Just a week being Levi...

Pretty quiet week on the Jones Pod front, however Levi kept us busy with his constant need for activity. Let's start on a quiet night in Levi's room... I'm glad to know that Levi is using his crib mattress evenly. I'm pretty sure that I put him to bed on the other side of the crib this particular evening. This next picture was only taken about ten minutes later...

We pulled out a new toy for Levi this week. The hammer is for knocking balls down little hoops. Levi had to make sure the hammer was sound plastic before he used it...

P.S. Goggy (Casey's mom's mom) and Wendy (Casey's mom) visited us on Friday and it was wonderful having them. They were a little camera shy but we'll make sure to get them next time. Also Happy Belated Mothers' Day to all those moms out there that follow our blog! Us non-moms will never know all that you do, but thank you, you're amazing!
