Levi Makes Another Overhaul!

Levi is 17 months old now, so no more of this baby stuff! It's time for him to feed himself... according to him. He actually says, "no, no" if you try to feed him. As you can see he's already mastered the art of feeding himself.

The second half of December was all about family. Levi got to see his Papa Tiggie and Aunt Sammi the two weekends before Christmas. It's been a huge blessing having our boy of busyness actually enjoying story time.

But being busy is still the MOST FUN!

Before we headed up to Wisconsin for Christmas Jenny took an afternoon and celebrated with the Perricones. Levi still isn't great with sharing (unless he is the recipient).

"Thanks Man!"
(John Michael is a much better friend :)

"Now I'm the happiest dude in the hood!"

Cuties!

As part of our lovely trip to Wisconsin we stopped at the Broglis' and Chris and Sarah's and we got to see the Hess' from good old Pennsylvania (you're going down Eagles - in two weeks!).

"Hey Levi, how's that movie?"

Sweet new kicks from Nani and Papa Tiggie

And a very apartment appropriate BOWLING SET!
(It stayed at Nani and Papa's)

More story time!

Cute hat and gloves from Auntie Sammi

Fun puzzles!

Mama was just a little excited about her Lulu Lemon gear!

Power Wheel!
(Also staying in Wisconsin -
is he the only grandkid and great grandkid...)

"Can someone double check that garbage bag before it goes outside"

A sweet ball-tent from his great Aunt Cissy!

Finally back home to celebrate Christmas morning as a little family

And a White Christmas!

Hard workers

"Sorry buddy, you have to leave your gloves on."

"Merry Christmas Daddy; do you like your new tie?"

Levi loves his blankets now; it's super cute!

And his tent and snacks...

Just hangin' out, playin' games with Mama
Here's Levi mimicking his Mama's typical afternoon time alone...

Wow, another busy month! Have a Happy New Year, "see" you all in 2011, and thanks for sticking with us in 2010. It was a blast for us and hopefully you got a glimpse of a year of what Jenny and Levi have to put up with... me! God bless and thanks again for all your visits, comments, and re-visits :)

Tis' the Season.... of Sickness :(

You better watch out if you see this commander coming your way; he's all business! Not really, he's basically all energy and he LOVES clomping around in his new boots. Well, this past week or so has been pretty crazy on the Jones front. I was out of town early this month for business and in South Dakota pheasant hunting last week and this past weekend we were in Indianapolis visiting family. Unfortunately, the strain left Jenny and Levi with some pretty bad colds. Luckily, they are both on the mend and looks like today will be the only day I'll have to miss work to play home doctor. We also had a LOVELY time with the Midwest blizzard yesterday, but I can tell you more about that another time... let's just say I now know what a whiteout is.

I guess this commander also has a silly side :)

Jenny made a Tutu for one of our friend's daughter,
I'll keep the secret to myself for now :)
Unfortunately , we needed a life-size model to test it out on...

Not sure what he's looking at, but I'm pretty sure he's pulling off the flannel quite nicely!

We stopped at Marty and Ed's on Sunday and they gave us shelter to outlast the storm. Thanks guys! Levi really enjoyed taming their wild white reindeer!
"Now where did I put that saddle...?"
"Woah there! Ok, no saddle!"
Just lookin' cute makin' a call...

Not much else to say about the last two weeks. Lots of lost time with me out of town unfortunately, but hopefully that won't be the case these next few months or years! Please pray for Jenny and Levi's quick recoveries from these nasty colds and thank you again for stopping by the Pod. Have a wonderful rest of the week and good luck to all those shoppers out there. Make sure to push, shove, and run with determination to that last minute gift, or just pray for world peace. God bless!
