Bonus - Double Issue!

That's right two weeks of JonesPod awesomeness packed into one post! Let's be honest... it was the only way I was going to get caught up. Dreams of posting twice in one week just need to be put away, along with being a professional athlete and getting an iPad. Any ways, welcome back, we had quite a lot of visitors over the last two weeks and my work schedule is really starting to ramp up - about 75 hours a week right now (can't wait for the hundred hour weeks). Enough venting about the career I chose, let's move on. In the above picture Levi is sporting the knit sweater my grandmother made for Tigue (I mentioned it last week) and that's all he's sporting...

Tigue had to have an ultrasound two weeks ago to see if his belly button was closing up. This contraption was in the waiting room - I forget what it's called but something about kinetics and audio and motion...

So, on the last day of July 2011 we got to hang out with the Roundys one last time before they headed off to Senegal. It was exciting and sad to send them off.

We'll see you in February 2013! That's right, Jenny and I have about 18 months to learn french, get 5 million shots and prep to visit the Roundys!

Levi is TWO NOW so it's time for the big boy bed!

Jenny got a chance late last week to go hang out with Brittany and the Perricone Clan. Lots of backyard fun with water and SPACE to play!

We also got the pleasure of Laura and her new BF (Neal) visiting this past weekend. I had to work until right before they had to leave but I made it back to take this much needed picture :)

OK - time to ramp up the Tigue facial pictures; we've been slacking with the fact that Levi is just slightly more amusing at this point, but I think Tigue is ready to hold his own!

And if friends weren't enough, Papa and the boys' uncles stopped by on Sunday!

Lastly, Jenny went and picked out Levi's new kicks today with birthday money from Mimi. They just add a whole new level of cool to our two-year-old.

And with that we wrap up TWO more weeks in ChiTown with the JonesPod. Please be praying for Jenny to have easy days over the next month and that my schedule is flexible enough that I can work from home whenever possible. Partyin' Wisconsin Style!

Well, I'm a few days late on the Wisconsin trip update but better late than never... Anyways, our trip to Wisconsin was for SO many reasons; but at its core it was to spend time with our friends the Roundys before they head off to Senegal to be full time missionaries - sadly (but awesomely) we were having too much fun that we forgot to take any pictures. However, there are plenty from all the activities that surrounded that lovely day. First off, you can see Levi above sporting a quality Ryan Grant jersey and lulu lemon sweatband. Quite the combo and I'm not sure what he's watching but it looks intense!

So, off we go late Thursday night to Nani and Papa's - the family was comfortable jammed in the back seats... Jenny is enjoying some hilarious Seinfield episodes.
Wow! 2 for 2! Papa has been sprayed with poop by both his grandsons and both times were the first time Papa held the boys in his house - CRAZY and hilarious!

Friday was a weird day... we had professional pictures taken (silent auction gift my mom got us - long story where I could rant about photography mark-ups but I won't) and hung out with the ROUNDYS! Kickball, movies, Ticket to Ride (board game), steak, chicken, laughs, music, ice cream, fudge fondue and just lots of fun... but no pictures :(

Saturday was hang-out with college friends day/Levi Wisconsin Birthday Party Part 1. We had an amazing time with Chris, Sarah, Zac, Amanda, EJ, and Greta. From cupcakes to brats to presents to Star Wars v. Star Trek debates, it was another day of pure fun!

Sunday was Levi Wisconin Birthday Party Part 2. We all got together at my parents house and I had to check out the aftermath upon arrival. Wisconsin had some nasty storms in June - my childhood treefort didn't make it :(

Our good family friends the Hardins dropped off some quality rides for Levi to use at Grandpa and Grandma's. My dad wasn't as thrilled about the new additions to store :)

It was a perfect weekend. We got to see a lot a people and still only had to be in one place each day (other than the photoshoot on Friday). Thank you all for the lovely weekend and tons of laughs!
